rainy day; roots.

the other day i shot some tennis. half way through the match it started rainin like a bull pissin on a flat rock as my dad would say. i got a little wet on my way to the car. as for the film camera, i'm going back to my roots. as some of you know i'm headed to guatemala in about a week. i want to make pictures, but don't want to lose the work camera so i'll be shooting film. this is actually a new AE-1 i picked up at the local camera shop. my cousin lisa lent me an identical camera when i first started making pictures that served me well for a few years until i got it wet. sorry lisa, i know i never told you. needless to say i never returned the camera, because i'm an asshole cousin, but i did continue a career in photography that i think she would be proud to know she had a part in. well now, someday, i can return the camera to her. hopefully the old one didn't have too much sentimental value. so if i've ever borrowed anything from you and not returned it, chances are i lost it or broke it and have been feeling guilty about it ever since. kind of like lisa's camera which took a crap about 5 1/2 years ago. yep felt like a jerk about it ever since. sorry.
