tater and elvis.

the first image is a random picture i took of "tater" getting a ride to the house in the pack of the truck, the rest are from my ride home last night actually. i was driving home from helping my students at school. i was talking to megan on the phone and, out of the corner of my eye, i noticed a glimmer of gold and sideburns pushing a lawn mower. i told megan that i thought that i had just seen elvis mowing his lawn, she suggested i check it out. thank you to megan. i got off the phone and turned around and sure as shit there he was flare pants and all pushing the mower. he was almost finished but i managed to fire off a few frames. after talking with claud about his astro mini van that doubles as his rolling advertising billboard, i ran to the car to get a pen and paper, he said he'd be inside and to come on in. i did and found a full karaoke setup in his living room. claud was great and an hour later i found myself listening to him sing old elvis and johnny cash tunes while eating a chocolate chip cookie made by his wife. these pictures aren't great, but i'm thinking about going back. we'll see. these pictures don't compare to nathan morgan 2.0's essay on elvis. check out his flickr account. i don't know how to link to it or i would.
